LARMO meets with UK National Crime Agency

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, the Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office (LARMO) held a meeting with the UK’s Financial Intelligence Unit (UKFIU) and the National Crime Agency (NCA), at the Libyan Prime Minister’s Offices the meeting was also attended by the Head of the Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Department at the Libyan Ministry of Interior.

LARMO was presented by Director General, Dr. Mohamad Ramadan Mensli. The participants discussed the issue of Libyan assets in the UK and Europe, with the NCA expressing its willingness to cooperate with LARMO, and provide it with all the necessary support to help achieve its objective of recovering Libyan assets for the benefit of the citizens of Libya.
