The Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office (LARMO) has joined the Camden Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network (CARIN) with observer status as a representative of the Libyan State. LARMO was also asked to become a founding member of the network’s North Africa and the Middle East office.

This decision was reached during the organization’s General Assembly meeting- held in Madrid, Spain, on October 19-20, 2022, with LARMO’s Director General, Dr. Mohamad Ramadan Mensli attending.

CARIN’s permanent secretariat is located at Europol’s headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands. The organization strives to increase its members’ work efficiency and intensify their efforts through joint actions aimed at arresting criminals and depriving them of their illegal profits.
