LARMO’s Director Mr Mohamed Mensli, held a joint , meeting with Dr. Mohammed Al-Shakshouki, head National Antiquities Department, as part of continued cooperation as advocated by the MOU. This consultative and coordinating meeting was held to prepare for the celebration of the return of a number of Libyan antiquities from some European countries and the United States, which is scheduled to take place in the fourth week of February. Several department managers from both sides attended the meeting. This celebration comes within the framework of protecting and preserving Libyan cultural heritage, raising public awareness of the importance of Libyan cultural heritage, which represents the identity of the society, and promoting awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations.
