Important Announcement from the Libyan State Asset Recovery Office

As part of efforts to enhance integrity and fairness in the distribution and utilization of recovered assets across all regions of Libya, the Libyan Asset Recovery and management Office announces the activation of decisions to establish new branches in:

Misrata

Benghazi

Sebha

These branches will serve as coordination hubs for developmental projects aligned with the office’s five key pillars , including support for designated special economic zones .

This decision aligns with the recommendations of the United Nations Office, the office’s international partner, as stated in its memorandum distributed to members of the Security Council and key nations.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025
