Mohamed Mensli , Director General of the Libyan asset recovery & management office, participated in the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund currently being held in the American capital, Washington. The meeting was attended by senior government officials and economic experts from around the world.

Mr Mensli’s participation focused on Libya’s efforts in recovering embezzled funds and managing recovered assets to enhance economic development and stability in Libya.

During the conference, Mensli held several bilateral meetings with government officials and international experts participating in the conference. Discussions revolved around enhancing international cooperation in asset recovery and exchanging experiences and successful practices in this field.

The participation of the Libyan asset recovery & management office in this conference reflects Libya’s steadfast commitment to combating corruption and recovering embezzled funds.
