Today, Thursday, June 6, 2024, the Director General of the Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office Mr Mohamed Mensli received a delegation from the panel of experts established by Security Council resolution 1973 (2011), accompanied by the Director of the Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This visit marks the continued established cooperation between LARMO and UNSC .

The meeting discussed a number of key issues related to the effective implementation of United Nations measures under resolution 1970 (2011) and related subsequent resolutions .
The Director General briefed the team on the strategies adopted by LARMO including the progress of setting LPRF and global activities of the office

An official point contact was established to further the cooperation for the benefit of the Libyan people .

The delegation commended the efforts of the office in implementing these measures, which aim to recover and reinvent the Libyan looted assets.
